Atziri Uzoukwu is a fourth-year student studying Civil Engineering with a minor in Sustainable Infrastructure. As President of the campus Latino club, La Casa, she proudly champions Afro-Latina representation by celebrating both her Mexican and Nigerian heritage. Outside of her studies, she loves hitting the gym or spending time outdoors with friends—preferably basking in the sun with some good food. As she closes out her final year on campus, Atziri is most excited to welcome the next generation of students through the Trotter/MESA Welcome Program and watch them begin their own journeys of self-discovery.
