Communications Co-Chair, SIBS
Nia Rae’ Echols (she/her/hers) is a communications co-chair for SIBS—Support for Incoming Black Students—at MESA. She is a senior from Detroit, Michigan that is majoring in Spanish and minoring in entrepreneurship. Along with being on the SIBS lead team, she is also the co-captain for the Dynamic Dolls Dance Team and a creative mentor in the Lloyd Scholars for the Writing and Arts Program. Nia Rae’ embraces the process of organizing, planning, and communicating ideas and goals for the greater purpose of engaging members of the SIBS community in a positive manner to provide a worthwhile and memorable experience for all.
