Participant Liaison, SIBS
Kamaldeen Akorede (he/him/his) is a participant liaison for SIBS—Support for Incoming Black Students—at the Office of Multi-Ethnic Student Affairs. He is a senior pursuing the biology, health, and society major on a pre-dental track. His current favorite hobbies are working out, drawing and watching shows and movies whenever there’s time. His goals for this position are to foster the formation of new partnerships between mentors and mentees, and to maintain these relationships by engaging in monthly check-ins and responding to pairs. His impact will carry on to inspire unity in the rest of the community positively.
