Multi-Ethnic Student Affairs

The Center for Educational Outreach (CEO) is part of the University's initiative to improve educational opportunities and provide academic support for the K-12 population in the state of Michigan.

Our center has established summer programs that engage low-income, first-generation, Native American and other groups that are traditionally underrepresented in higher education and the college experience. CEO offers an opportunity for U of M students to become involved in a small, dynamic, and  friendly work environment to inspire and expose middle school and high school students to attend college.

We seek student leaders who are self-motivated, energetic and willing to grow in the profession.

Each summer we hold 4 major outreach spring and summer programs for students in middle school through high school.  These are overnight programs, here on campus, provide a rich and exciting agenda to motivate today's youth to prepare for college life. The pay is between $300 for weekend camps and $900 for week long camps.
