LSA Internship Scholarships

LSA Students with demonstrated financial need are eligible for scholarship support for up to $5000 for internship opportunities during the spring and summer terms.

The Welcoming Project Scholarship

The Welcoming Project will award a $500 scholarship to one undergraduate student and a $500 scholarship to one graduate student who provide outstanding contributions to LGBTQ activism. 2017 LEAD Scholarship Application Now Available

The Alumni Association of the University of Michigan is an independent, non-profit organization which supports the University. They offer merit-based scholarships for accepted, underrepresented incoming freshman who embody Leadership, Excellence, Achievement and Diversity (LEAD).

The LEAD Scholars program awards a minimum of $5,000 per year for U-M Ann Arbor, U-M Dearborn, or U-M Flint students. The scholarship is renewable for a total of four years (eight semesters).

Award Amount: $2,500.00

Purpose:  To honor Arab-American students who excel in Media Studies.

Eligibility:  College students enrolled in the 2017-2018 academic year; Juniors, Seniors and Graduate School students who are majoring in Journalism, Radio, Television, and/or Film.
