Michael Benitez, Jr. is an activist-scholar and speaker on empowerment, leadership, and education integrating hip hop pedagogy, academic inquiry and personal experience. He examines activism on college campuses in a non-threatening, yet passionate fashion.

This event is a part of The Center's Social Justice Speaker Series which is aimed at bringing attention to social justice issues relevant to University of Michigan students.
