Fleishman-Hillard: Alfred Fleishman Diversity Fellowship Program
Last year around this time Fleishman-Hillard contacted you to announce the inaugural year of our Alfred Fleishman Diversity Fellowship program. We are reaching out again this year, as we are now accepting applications for our 2013 fellowships.
As you may recall from last year’s communication, the fellowships are designed to attract college seniors, recent graduates and graduate students from ethnically diverse backgrounds, who are interested in a career in integrated communications. The fellowships are six- to twelve-months in duration, offering a challenging work experience in one of our U.S. offices, competitive pay, professional development and senior-level mentorship. In addition, company benefits such as medical, life insurance, 401k, vacation and sick leave are included. The program is not limited to communications majors, however, applicants should have strong writing skills and a passion for communications.
Our existing fellows have had the opportunity to work on client projects, media relations, events and new business pitches, among many other practical experiences in the field of integrated communications. At the end of the assignment, fellows will be given strong consideration for full-time positions with Fleishman-Hillard based on their job performance and the needs of the business. After only six months of offering the fellowships, we have already experienced success in hiring out of the program!
Please find attached a one-page program handout that we invite you to share. Please feel free to direct interested students to our website for more information. The application deadline is March 15, 2013.
We welcome the opportunity to provide you with additional background regarding the program as well as to discuss how we can best promote the fellowships and identify candidates at your university. We look forward to working with you and appreciate your assistance and recommendations.
