Arts of H.E.A.L.T.H: Register for the 2013 SCOR Conference Today!

Dear U of M Community,

Registration for this year's 23rd annual SCOR Conference is HERE.

We invite Graduate & Undergraduate Students, Alumni, Faculty & Staff, Community Members & Partners to join us on Friday, March 22nd AND Saturday, March 23rd, as the Students of Color of Rackham (SCOR) bring to you:

The Arts of H.E.A.L.T.H: Survival, Serenity, and Social Change

*Registration is required to attend Friday's Kick-off Dinner with Keynote Address by Byron Hurt & Special Performances by members of Detroit Youth Passages
Register Now!

The conference will bring together artists, researchers, and educators from a diverse background and schools of thought to produce interdisciplinary conversation. We intend to challenge disciplinary boundaries by addressing critical thresholds that seemingly trouble (inter) disciplinary articulation and legibility.

We wish to create dialogue that enables scholars to pursue diverse and innovative methodologies that lead to more inclusive learning environments, research methods, and pedagogies. Because we insist that our H.E.A.L.T.H.—Home, Education Activism, Leadership, Tenacity, and Healing—as people of color depend on multiple sustaining resources, we believe that the multiplicity and heterogeneity inherent to the expressive arts will sustain and empower these endeavors.
